Fee Schedule

Admission Fee: Admission Fee of Rs. 3,000 is to be paid by all the selected candidates immediately after the admission decision is announced. This should be paid by way of Demand Draft drawn in favor of "The ICFAI University, Meghalaya" payable at Tura / Shillong, Meghalaya. Admission Fee is non-refundable.

Program Fee: The Program fee includes Tuition Fee, Student Activity Fund, Alumni Membership Fee but not the Admission fee. The Tuition Fee includes the cost of courseware and library fee.

Payment Options

A) Annual Payment: Students can pay the program fee in 3 annual instalments for the first, third and fifth semesters (on or before June 16, 2008, June 15, 2009 and June 14, 2010) respectively. All payments are to be made by way of Demand Draft in favor of "The ICFAI University, Meghalaya", payable at Tura /Shillong. The details are given below in Table 2:

B) Instalment Scheme: Students can pay the program fee in 6 equal instalments. The first instalment is to be paid by way of Demand Draft in favor of "The ICFAI University, Meghalaya", payable at Tura/Shillong, at the time of registration for Semester I i.e. June 16, 2008. The remaining 5 instalments are payable by way of Post-dated Cheques (PDCs) in favor of "The ICFAI University, Meghalaya" as per Table 3 given below. These 5 PDCs (dated 1st Jan, 2009; Ist July, 2009; 1st Jan, 2010; Ist July, 2010 and 1st Jan, 2011) are to be deposited with the ICFAI University at the time of registration for the Semester I. All the PDCs should be signed by the parent/guardian only.

Contribution to Student Activities Fund

Students are required to contribute Rs.3,000 to the Student Activities Fund. The fund is administered by a committee consisting of student representatives and faculty under the supervision of the Principal. It is utilized to finance student activities including special classes for development of soft skills, placement brochure/placement related activities, participation in competitions, picnics, cultural events, welcome and valedictory functions, etc. This fund is also utilized to reimburse the hospitalization expenses up to Rs.50,000 due to illness and accidents during the course of study. The amount of Rs.3,000 towards Student Activities Fund is included in the Program fee.

Membership Fee of Alumni Society

Students are required to become members of the Alumni Society. The membership in the Alumni Society entitles the students to participate in seminars, workshops, conferences and local chapter activities. An amount of Rs.3,000 towards membership fee of Alumni Society is included in the Program fee.

Waiver of Tuition Fee

In the unfortunate event of death of the parent of a student who is funding the education of a student at the ICFAI University, the balance of tuition fee payable by such student will be waived. Further details will be provided in the Student Handbook.

Refund of Tuition Fee

In the unfortunate event of death of a student during the course of study at the ICFAI University, the tuition fee paid will be refunded to the specified parent. Further details will be provided in the Student Handbook.
